Our key client helps Insurance Providers access every opportunity by connecting them with more markets through their distribution platform.
The role of the Software Implementation Consultant is a customer-facing project role responsible for the implementation of the customer’s requirements within the company's distribution platform.  After gathering and understanding the customer’s requirements, the Software Implementation Consultant will use the company’s configuration tools to deliver an appropriate solution. This solution includes data models, document templates, business rules, financial calculations, and workflows.
Acting as the face of the business, strong interpersonal skills are essential coupled with strong stakeholder management experience. You will have the ability to effectively communicate to your audience/stakeholder, both technical and non-technical. It is important that you provide expertise and advice to customers as they look to this organisation as specialists in our industry.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Degree qualified or equivalent commercial experience.
  • 3-5+ years’ experience within an Implementation Consultant or Professional Services Consultant position (Business or Technical background).
  • Experience in creating a range of documentation including but not exclusive to business requirements, process maps and technical specifications.
  • Experience with data models, document templates, business rules, financial calculations, and workflows.
  • Commercial experience working in both Waterfall and Agile Methodologies.
  • Experience working with and configuration of large and/or complex software packages.
  • A thorough understanding of the full software development project life-cycle.
  • An understanding of relational databases.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, and strong customer-facing and communication skills.
  • Proven experience of handling difficult conversations with stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Experience in General Insurance relating to Policy and/or Claims functions will be highly regarded.
