An excellent opportunity has become available for a dynamic Scrub Scout Manager to join the leadership team of the Theatre Department at a private hospital in Melbourne.

As a Theatre Manager, you will share the responsibility of overseeing the effective management of the scrub scout team working in the 11 Operating Theatres. You will be supported by a passionate team of Associate NUM’s while reporting to and utilising the mentorship of the Associate Director of Clinical Services - Perioperative Services Manager.

To be a successful applicant should possess the following key selection criteria:
  • Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA;
  • Extensive experience either as a senior perioperative nurse or as a Theatre Manager is essential for this role;
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders;
  • Capable to lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals and act as a passionate mentor;
  • Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a continuous improvement / risk management program;
  • Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite including Excel.
