Are you an experienced Purchasing Manager with an interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing – from pre-clinical investigations and process development to commercial cGMP production?

You must have:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a procurement role
  • CIPs qualification to a minimum of level 3
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret specific business needs to fulfil requirements effectively
  • Excellent understanding of the business S&OP cycle
  • Excellent communication skills, as you’ll be required to build and maintain effective and credible relationships with key stakeholders and across all areas of the business
In this role, you’ll be:
  • Negotiating with key strategic partners to ensure collaborative partnerships
  • Ensuring all raw materials currently supplied to site for use in the company’s manufacturing process are sourced via the most appropriate and reliable supply route
  • Ensuring the timely delivery of raw materials to fully satisfy site process, quality, regulatory, SHE and scheduling requirements
  • Evaluating, selecting, implementing and continually improving an effective system for routine use in the procurement team
  • Driving visible performance management, using KPI’s to track progress, monitoring actual performance versus plan and promoting awareness to drive improvement
  • Providing advice and leadership on procurement issues
  • Supporting the Procurement and Sourcing Manager
