Process Operator with good problem-solving techniques required for a global leader in the chemical industry.

Are you a Process Operator with good problem-solving techniques and a flexible attitude? Are you also a great team player? If so, we may have the ideal role for you, working for a global leader in the chemical industry.
  
You’ll be required to:
  • Report to the direct supervisor on a shift-by-shift basis
  • Strive to meet the manufacturing performance targets
  • Meet site safety standards, including no lost time accidents or major incidents impacting on the site’s operation
  • Meet regulatory and customer quality requirements relating to 1S09001, 1S014001 and cGMP as well as the requirements of cross contamination prevention
  • Monitor permit activities
  • Train and coach three operators, including assessing multi-skilling activities (check job completion)
  • Participate as required in design/hazard reviews
  
You’ll need to have:
  • NVQ Process Operations Level 2 Data (literacy and numeracy) qualification
  • Computer literacy
  • Understanding of BMS risk assessments and method statements
  • Ability to process data entry to BMS (OEE, handover logs, yield etc.) as well as data entry on to batch cards and QAO15 packages
  • Ability to organise your own workload
  • Good level of safety and quality awareness
