District Operations Manager

  • £38,000 - £41,000 depending on experience
Following a restructure of operations, this is a newly created role for a district operations manager to join the organisation.

This role will be very hands on and require an operational and strategic mindset.  The role will see you taking full responsibility for the operational management of the early years health and well being services across Erdington, Hodge Hill, Perry Bar and Sutton and will report directly into the regional manager.

The successful candidate will need previous experience working within early years health organisations and will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check. 

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Promote continuous improvement across the portfolio of services
  • Ensure the very best outcome for children, young people and families
  • Provide operational leadership for all health visiting services
  • Deputise for regional manager when required
  • Work alongside business partners to plan, deliver and review networks and services
  • Auditing - quarterly and annually
  • Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures and followed  
Previous experience:
  • Strategic, operational management and strong leadership experience
  • Experience with managing budgets
  • Significant experience gained within Children's Centre environment
  • Knowledge of: The Children's Acts of 1989 and 2004, United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
  • Child protection and safeguarding
  • Child protection policies and procedures
