We are seeking a HR professional to join the National People & Development team within a leading Australian law firm and be the contact for all support staff, graduates and paralegals within this law firm as well as assist in providing HR support to over 600 staff nationally.
Reporting to the National People & Development Manager, you will have a combination of state based and national responsibilities. The role involves all aspects of human resources management across the employment life cycle including:
- Resource planning and recruitment
- Performance and remuneration reviews
- Employee relations & policy advice
- People & Development projects
- Team building & social activities
- HR reporting
You will have approximately 3-5 years generalist HR experience, ideally obtained in a professional services environment. Experience in a law firm will be a significant advantage. You will need to be flexible and an excellent communicator who can confidently build relationships with people at all levels of the organisation.
You will have a keen interest in developing your expertise in the legal sector within a supportive team environment which offers you career development and mentoring.
The role could potentially be suited to a person seeking to work flexible hours depending on the individual.
