Hoop Nursing are looking for a passionate, experienced and driven Registered Nurse to work at a 40-bedded service in the Bridgend area. This service provides high standards of nursing care to the following:
  • Individuals aged 18 and above with acquired brain injury
  • Individuals aged 18 and above with dementia / mental infirmity
  • Individuals aged 18 and above with a learning disability who have a primary diagnosis of acquired brain injury, dementia or mental infirmity
  • Individuals aged 18 years and above with a mental illness who have a primary diagnosis of acquired brain injury, dementia, mental infirmity
  
As the Registered Nurse you will join a passionate and long-standing staff team that consists of qualified nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD) and highly qualified care staff. The service also boasts a full-time occupational therapist and psychologist who help enhance the quality and range of care provided.
  
Responsibilities
  • To lead, motivate and inspire the nurse and care team to provide high-quality, personally tailored care
  • To maintain excellent working relationships with internal staff, service users, relatives, and external professionals
  • To work alongside MDT members including dentists, opticians, tissue viability nurses, palliative care teams, dieticians, and speech therapists.
  • To administer medication in line with company policy and procedure

Essential
  • Must be a Registered Nurse with an active PIN
  • Must have experience working with individuals with primary diagnosis of the above
  • Must be committed to the role
