Hoop Nursing are looking for a passionate and committed Registered Nurse to work for a highly respected organisation, working as the peripatetic nurse at their purpose-built services in the Cardiff and Newport area.

The homes are fully redeveloped, modern and provide the highest standards of accommodation and person-centred care with highly experienced Registered Nurses and Care Assistants providing 24-hour support. The home(s) exceed CSSIW requirements with spacious communal areas, bedrooms and a healthy staff to resident ratio.

The home(s) are run by personable, experienced and professional managers who exceptionally motivate and inspire the team. The staff consist of driven, supportive and optimistic professionals who provide the most exceptional care.

As the Peripatetic Nurse you will support the services as and when required, to maintain and develop a centre of excellence within the services. You will work clinical shifts, ensuring quality assurance measures are followed and staff are supported with day-to-day tasks.

  • Supporting the services with expert knowledge of advanced nursing skills and clinical decision making
  • Lead and develop specialist nursing care policies and procedures to aid service users and their families
  • Ensure clinically effective practice through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical work
  • Have a working knowledge of Safeguarding policy and procedures, ensuring that individuals at risk are identified
  • To ensure all members of staff are maintaining accurate manual and electronic records throughout all aspects of care provision to promote continuity and partnership, in line with policies, NMC record keeping guidelines and CSSIW Regulations
  • To audit, order and administer medication in line with company policy

  • Must be RGN/RMN registered Nurse with current PIN
