Position: Sales Executive/Sales Manager
Location: South Yorkshire
Salary: £18k-£35k + Bonus

You have the chance to join a market leading steel stockholder at an exciting time. This well-established company has seen impressive growth in 2018 and now requires an experienced sales person to join their successful sales team in South Yorkshire.

This business supplies mild steel in a variety of forms to a number of industries, including fabrication, construction, gates & railings and more. It also sells and access and safety range, consisting of expanded metal, tube clamps, handrails and more. You will look after existing customers and it will be your responsibility to grow and develop these accounts.

While the role is internal, you will have access to a pool car and will be able to visit customers. In addition to managing accounts, a key part of your role will also cold call/chase dormant accounts to bring on new business and will be encouraged to develop sales in the new product range.

The right candidate for this role will be from a sales background and be comfortable in managing existing customers and making proactive sales calls. Steel experience is desirable however people from backgrounds in similar industries such as builders merchants, plumbing merchants, timber merchants, laser cutting, engineering or manufacturing will be considered.

Dependent on experience, there is also scope for this to be a Sales Manager position. This will involve managing the existing sales team and spending 2-3 days per week on the road, visiting customers and tagretting new business. This would also include a company car.
