As the Sales and Marketing Director, you will lead and drive the Sales and Marketing function to deliver the outputs required to achieve overall business objectives.  As a key member of the executive Leadership Team and reporting into the CEO, you will have a critical role in driving positive and sustainable cultural change to focus on Sales, Marketing and Key Account Management.

Key Responsibilities;
  • Define and deliver the Sales Forecast to meet growth plans and company objectives on an annual and Rolling 3-year basis.
  • Define the Bid and Pricing Strategy to ensure the Sales Forecast and Business Objectives are achieved.
  • Budget holder for Sales, Marketing and Airbus Account overheads.
  • Define and deliver the after sales strategy to meet growth plans, driving and meeting after sales revenue targets.
  • Monitor competitors’ products, including relevant sales and marketing data to enable agile response if required.
  • Use available data to accurately forecast sales and set appropriate performance goals.
  • Complete market research and analyse results to adjust sales and marketing strategy for maximum success.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major contracts.
  • Lead, manage and develop a high performing Global Sales & Marketing team, via coaching, mentoring and training.
  • Define, monitor and measure Sales Targets for all members of the sales team.
  • Act as Project Sponsor for execution of the Marketing Plan, with significant emphasis on delivery of a successful Aircraft Interiors event ‘Hamburg’.
  • Be the face of Acro in front of the customer and at industry events.
  • Be a key influence in Acro’s Product Development Strategy.
  • Responsibility for ensuring all departmental activity is compliant to defined BMS Process / AS9100 requirements
To be successful in this position you will have/be;
  • A strong track record operating at a senior level within cabin interiors sales.
  • A result driven deal closer.
  • Business degree achieved at 2:1 or above (or equivalent).
  • Self-motivated and hands on, with a strong ability to influence upwards while managing and leading a team to ensure deliverable s and objectives are met.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to influence at senior management level.
  • A dynamic and confident individual, with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to propose innovative ideas and a clear way forward.
  • Diligent, enthusiastic and driven with an excellent work ethic and a “can do” attitude.
  • Highly motivated and collaborative with a real focus on delivery and a proven track record of reaching challenging goals and proactively overcoming all obstacles.
  • A good eye for detail, highly adaptable, flexible and capable of making decisions in a fast paced and pressured environment.
  • Experience in managing multiple demanding requirements and resources efficiently.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to undertake frequent overseas travel.
