An opportunity has arisen for a temporary Accounts Payable Assistant to join our clients Finance team in Newbury. 
 
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY TASKS
  • Accurate and timely processing of all invoices
  • Ensuring that all invoices have appropriate back up documentation
  • Liaise with authorised signatories to obtain approval for all invoices 
  • Reconciling monthly supplier statements and resolving any differences
  • Ensuring all invoices are filed and retained for the appropriate time period
  • The maintenance of supplier account details – change of address / bank details
Candidate specification
Essential
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Numerate
  • Self-motivated
  • Good communicator
Desirable
  • Experience in an Accounts Payable role
