Residential Children's support workers required to work within 6 residential settings throughout Bridgend

Hoop Education & Social Care are recruiting now for Residential Childcare Workers to work on a variety of assignments supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural problems, throughout 6 different residential settings within Bridgend.

You will be responsible for all aspects of practical and emotional support for the young people and to support permanent staff to ensure the smooth running of this service.

This will also suit ALN Teaching Assistants who are currently unable to work within a school setting,experience working with children with EBSD, Autism and ADHD is required. 

Ideally you will have
6 month experience supporting children and / or young people within a similar setting
Flexibility to work shifts - although regular hours are available
Access to transport
DBS on Update Service - although you can apply for one through HOOP today
PBM training (or equivalent) is desirable, although training can be provided
