Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
  • Fair Remuneration and Benefits Strategies
  • Design, develop and implement strategies and tools to support corporate global remunerations practices
  • Analyse, study and assess identified remuneration and benefits strategies and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Lead and facilitate global compensation initiatives to implement changes or improvements to global remuneration practices to ensure alignment with Smollan’s strategic objectives and business plans
  • Continually monitor and research remuneration and benefits surveys
  • Provide advice on the application of remuneration management principles, pay scheme development, cost estimations and best practice on a global level
  • Lead various compensation and data analytics projects supporting the strategic business needs associated with compensation, benefits and other labour related metrics
Costing/Structuring Remuneration Models:
  • Conduct analyses of costing/structuring remuneration models to ensure that these are appropriate and aligned to the requirements of the business on a global level
  • Investigate and compile salary build-ups through market analysis on various options guided by best practice
  • Conduct remuneration negotiations with both internal and future employees on a global level
  • Ensure the extension of offers of employment and related clarification of all E-band and above employees
  • Ensure the extension of offers of employment and related clarification of all expat related matters
  • Devise variable pay frameworks
  • Manage multiple projects such as remuneration and benefits integration for mergers and acquisitions, recalibration of existing salary range and hourly pay structures, cost evaluation of incentive plans, analysis and cost estimation of new cash allowances/benefits implementation or changes to existing plans
