Business Development Manager (Software / HR Systems)


We are looking for the very best consultative Field Sales executives with strong Software or HR background. Excellent opportunity & commission paid.

Location: South (GL, MK, CB, CO, CV, OX, NN Post Codes) 
Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 plus excellent benefits including uncapped commission. OTE £50,000 (Plus Company Car, Fuel card & credit card)
Our client is a leading innovator and a household name with a thriving culture, offering a family of iconic brands. 
Due to huge success and growth they are now looking for a field based Business Development Manager ideally with experience in Time & Attendance, Payroll or HR Systems but not essential. 
The successful Candidate will benefit from an excellent on boarding programme as well as ongoing skills based training so candidates from all sales backgrounds will be considered.
The results obsessed candidate’s will be target driven, hungry, proactive, self confident, self starter with resilience, tenacity and excellent communication and time management skills, and happy to work within a fast paced and ever changing environment. 
About the Role 
  • Developing sales leads within assigned B2B territory through cold calling and referrals (Both on the phone and face to face) 
  • Acting upon inbound leads in an expedient manor. 
  • Selling solutions and systems to achieve and exceed individual targets, as well as being a team player and
    working towards team goals
  • Maintaining an active lead generation plan 
  • Using effective questioning to determine customers needs and requirements 
  • Conducting job surveys and providing a cost proposal 
  • Working with the in-house design department and other design aids to design a system that meets customers needs. 
  • Co-ordinating with other departments to ensure the confidence of the customer is maintained 
  • Following up sales on completion to ensure customer satisfaction 
  • Fully utilising the sales and marketing support team to help achieve goals. 
  • Providing regular reports, forecasts and relevant sales information as requested
    Controlling and following up pipeline to ensure results are met in accordance with your sales targets.
