An HR Administrator is sought by a dynamic and leading business growth company to join their team who specialises in the small business sector.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role is responsible for handling personnel administration, liaison between the HR Manager and staff members, resolution of queries, support HR training activities, assist in coordinating HR policies as well as documents and processes.

Our client is a leading business growth professional specializing in growing the global small business sector.

In order to be shortlisted for the vacancy, the successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies, but limited to: -
  • A minimum National Diploma/BTech/Degree in HR.
  • A minimum of 2 years HR Assistant experience, staff assistant or relevant administration/recruitment experience is a strong advantage.
  • Be able to demonstrate an understanding of South African Laws & HR compliance Regulations.
  • Understanding of BCEA, LRA, OHS, EE, POPI, SDL & B-BBEE.
  • Advanced Microsoft computer skills, especially MS Excel.
  • Problem-solving ability, good interpersonal skills, independence and ability to use your own initiative.
  • Confident public speaking and facilitation skills will be an advantage, but not a requirement in order to be shortlisted for this role.

The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:-
  • General Administration: Admin & record keeping, HR news & documentation, HR updates, Set up meetings & minute taking;
  • HR Governance, Reporting and Administration: Process & update employee, leave management and company policies;
  • Recruitment and on-boarding: Coordinate job requisition approvals, prepare job advertising and circulate, ensure that job descriptions are updated before adverts are released, arrange candidates interviews, compile feedback for all candidates, conduct the necessary checks, prepare offer letters and employment contracts and new starter packs and assist with Induction.
  • Learning and Development; Admin of study assistance applications, training administration and staff course research.
