Meraki Talent are currently looking to recruit a US Tax Manager to join a leading CA firm in Cayman. You will be joining an established accountancy firm with an excellent reputation in Cayman and beyond. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their career by gaining experience with one of the largest firms on the island whilst working with an enviable client base including insurance, banking and asset management.

Duties and responsibilities of the US Tax Manager:
  • Supporting and supervising the preparation of US income tax returns
  • Working to support the growth and development of the US tax practice
  • Working with specialised financial services clients including hedge funds and private equity funds and captive insurance companies
  • Supervising, coaching and mentoring junior team members
Background of the US Tax Manager:
  • An internationally recognised professional accounting or tax qualification such as CTA, ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA, LLB or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of US Tax, ideally with international exposure
  • Previously experience in a professional services/ public accounting environment
  • Previous financial services sector experience
  • Strong communication skills- both written and spoken
  • Strong ability to develop client relationships
