Transaction Reporting Manager/Supervisor
Meraki Talent has been engaged to recruit a transaction reporting manager for a UK based fund administrator. The right candidate will have experience transaction reporting/MiFid II and will have at least a couple of years in a similar role.
The team are there to support the business through the continued review of Transaction Reporting procedures making appropriate suggestions, with supported rationale, to enhance and improve our offering.  The role is home based mostly with very occasional travel to the office post lockdown restrictions.
What you'll be doing
  • Oversight of the transaction reporting (TR) process, improving and streamlining where possible and providing documented rationale to support decisions.
  • Maintenance and updating of TR procedural documentation.
  • Responsible for the timely back reporting and documentation of any errors.
  • Manage day to day relationship with our Approved Reporting Mechanism (ARM)
  • Provide guidance, coaching and advice to the reporting administrator
  • Provision of timely and relevant MI on the transaction reporting process
  • Provide guidance and advice to operational business units regarding the provision of complete and accurate reporting data
  • Timely provision of CMAR, Rep-Crim and RTS 28 reports
  • Adhoc technical tasks within the Share Dealing business
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of regulatory rules and requirements (EG Marketwatch, MiFir)
What we're looking for
  • Strong operational understanding of the share dealing/wealth management industry.
  • Minimum 2 years detailed working knowledge of Mifid II transaction reporting requirements. 
  • Understanding of regulatory reporting – Rep Crim, CMAR, RTS28 Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge including data analysis, pivot tables, vlookups. Experience of VBA and creating macros.
  • Previous exposure to working closely with the Compliance function.
  • Proven problem solving abilities.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Some people-management experience needed.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter and comfortable working remotely at times.
