Our client, an international renewable energy company, is recruiting for a Financial Analyst to join their Dublin finance team.

Working closely with the Head of Commercial Finance, this role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team, providing key financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.

The main responsibilities of the role will be providing financial analysis for all Group transactions as well as developing and supporting the planning and forecasting for the business. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of business plans and budgets for the Business, working with Business Owners to provide robust assumptions, inputs and analysis on all aspects of development, construction and operation of assets
  • Develop and maintain capital expense assumptions for input into business cases and budgets, reflecting key procurement contracts.
  • Collate and understand key revenue assumptions including yield analysis and Power Purchase Agreement pricing and key financial terms for input into Revenue modelling
  • Work closely with portfolio managers to reflect schedules, inter dependencies and risks in budget planning and phasing
  • Establish robust operational expense assumptions for input into business models and budgets

Key Skills

• A high calibre qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, minimum 1 years PQE)
• Must have Industry experience, with a strong preference for experience supporting FP&A function.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to apply creative thinking to solve complex, interrelated problems.
