Our Client is a Plc with an excellent reputation in the Irish market. They are fortunate to be going through an period of growth and are hiring for a number of positions in the finance team.

This is an attractive opportunity to enter a high performing finance team, reporting to the Group Finance Manager but also working directly with the Group Financial Controller where you will receive valuable mentoring and a clear progression path. This is a varied role, with direct reports, that and will also include involvement in strategy and group planning and analysis.

Who should apply?
Big 4/Top 10 trained qualified accountants with 0-3 years PQE who hold excellent academic results. Currently working as:
  • Audit Senior, Assistant Manager, or newly appointed Manager (industry audit)
  • Financial Accountant/ Senior Financial Accountant in a large company
  • Plc / large corporate experience beneficial
Role and Reporting Lines
The role reports directly to the Group Finance Manager and Group Financial Controller and will involve:
  • Month-end: Preparation of monthly accounts for review by the Group Financial Controller
  • Reporting: Preparation of year end statutory accounts for specific entities
  • Budgeting: Responsible for budget & forecast preparation and analysis
  • Management: Managing a number of junior finance staff
  • Audit: Liaising with internal and external auditors
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Systems: Liaising with other internal departments and involvement with systems related projects
