Our Client
Our client is a leading Real Estate investment company who’s portfolio is diversified in a number of locations. They have seen double digit growth in recent years and have not been affected by the current pandemic.

Who should apply?
Candidate should be practice trained finance professionals with c 3-4 years PQE with the capabilities to step into a decision making financial controller position. From speaking with our client, we have put together potential backgrounds of perspective candidates:
  • Group Accountant/Senior Accountant in a plc
  • FP&A/Commercial Accountant with prior experience of financial reporting for a group of companies looking for a finance manager position with fast track to FC
  • Big 4 Audit Manager/ FAAS looking to move to industry
Other things that would be beneficial and that should be highlighted on applications should include:
  • Prior experience of overseeing the implementation of a new Accountancy or CRM system
  • Multicurrency consolidation
  • Accounting for acquisitions and disposals
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting to the CFO and assisting in the running the day to day finance operations the, role will be very broad involving:
  • Reporting – Preparation of quarterly management accounts, B/S recs, year-end accounts, liaising with auditors, and preparation of audited financial statements
  • Working with the commercial team to set realistic/tangible budgets and forecasts coupled investigating variances
  • Compliance – Ensuring financial compliance across various structures
  • Finance Operations – Hands-on involvement
  • Banking – quarterly banking compliance certificate completions, managing senior debt function
  • Fundraising – understanding banking facility agreements and overview of the various lenders and funding options available in the Irish market
  • Tax planning, liaising with tax advisors
  • Financial modelling, monthly projections and cashflow planning
