Our Client
Our client is a Boutique Corporate Finance House based in Dublin, with operations in North America. They are seeking to expand their team by hiring a newly qualified accountant with a background in Audit, Tax or Corporate Finance who has a genuine interest in a career in Corporate Finance.

Who should apply?
Candidates should be recently qualified accountants currently working in Big 4/ Top 10 firms in corporate finance, transaction services, audit, or tax coupled with the following:
  • First-rate track record of academic achievements
  • Strong commercial acumen that can be clearly demonstrated
  • Ability to interpret financial results and present it to senior management concisely
  • Strong excel skills and the ability to understand and manipulate financial models
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting directly to the head of Corporate Finance, your duties will include:
  • M&A strategy and application
  • Performing detailed due diligence
  • Reviewing business plans, projections, strategies with accompanying historic financial statements
  • Interpreting and understanding financial models to make key strategic decisions
  • Preparing decision making papers for presentation to key internal and external stakeholders
  • Support team development, and new business development/origination
  • Performing valuations, assessing deal benefits, planning for integration, and streamlining deal closing
  • Fundraising - understanding banking facility agreements and overview of the various lenders and funding options available in the Irish market
  • Tax planning and assisting in the structuring of deals
  • Working capital management
  • Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
