Business Development Manager needed with sales experience in events and/or sponsorship.
Our client is global independent provider of business intelligence and insight, specialising in the financial services sector.
They are currently searching for a Business Development Manager to work across their flagship brand, with products covering all aspects of the vertical. Their products provide industry professionals with the information they need to be confident about what is happening in the marketplace.This individual will be responsible for growing the brand across advertising, content and event platforms in the global market.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the growth of the brand and develop your own skillset across sales, networking and account management. The right candidate will have previously worked in events and/or sponsorship sales.
- Previous experience in B2B sales ideally in events sponsorship sales
- Consultative B2B sales/retentions/account management experience would be an advantage
- Previous sales experience working within the financial services market, specifically with financial organizations would be an advantage
- Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and closing skills
- Highly developed business acumen and the ability to understand the wider issues of the industry
- The ability to identify new revenue opportunities and maximise product potential
- Confident and intelligent sales manner
- On and Offline media sales experience
