Based in our clients Bristol office, their Experience Team is looking for a UX savvy User Researcher.

Based in our clients Bristol office, their Experience Team is looking for a UX savvy User Researcher. The ideal candidate will have experience doing user interviews, ethnography, workshops as well as producing deliverables such as customer journeys, experience maps and in some cases prototypes that help illustrate to teammates and stakeholders which user insight is most important and which will help prioritise the business strategy. 
 
You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team and work with another UX Architect and UI Designer to deliver the evidence that informs the business of most significant user needs.  It is an opportunity to do small Guerrilla research as well as usability testing - making you the 'go to' person for providing true 'user insight’ to for our clients brands.
 
Responsibilities:
  • A varied user research toolkit, including user testing interviews, workshops, and journey mapping, persona definition etc.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and presentations skills
  • Experience working collaboratively with designers, development teams and product owners
  • Ability to identify, plan and set up the 'right' research method 
  • Ability to deliver well thought-through analysis and synthesis of user insights
  • Ability to present, with confidence to a team and stakeholders
 
Qualifications:
  • Understanding of inclusive research
  • Familiar with Agile practices
  • Ability to identify difference between proven assumptions and unforeseen strategic opportunities
  • Technical understanding - insofar as they understand what is broadly possible with technology (Mobile/Tablet/ Desktop)
