Duties and responsibilities
  • Assisting the Corporate Lending Manager with the administration side of the business including preparing of credit agreements and related documentation
  • Reviewing and preparing the necessary documentation for the perfection of the Bank's collateral
  • Conducting credit reviews on a regular basis and following up on the daily monitoring processes, such as the settlement of any excesses and past dues
  • Managing administrative related tasks such as credit requests, loan drawdowns, rescheduling and loan repayments
  • Managing collateral documentation, ensuring that this is maintained in order and that the Bank's collateral is protected throughout the duration of the loan
  • Responding to customer's requests in a timely manner and in line with the credit procedures
Required knowledge, skills and experience
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
  • A solid understanding of lending products and services
  • Proficiency with MS Office, in particular with MS Excel
  • A Diploma in Finance, Economics or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Maltese
