Contract furniture sales focusing on dealers and interior designers

Our client is recruiting an experienced contract sales consultant to manage their A&D relationships and develop new project opportunities with its range of exclusive furniture.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience selling furniture to the A&D community, working on contract projects with an established network and will be responsible for generating new business whilst managing existing key specifier accounts. You will be fluent in spoken/ written English and be customer service and brand-driven.

Required Skills
  • At least three years of selling experience
  • Self-motivated, self-directed with a track record of successful, credible lead follow-up and sales development at multiple levels within an organization
  • Strong interpersonal communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates, managers, outside and inside contacts
  • Positive and energetic with excellent listening skills and strong writing skills
Required Tasks
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to buy furniture
  • Drive sales through product knowledge and workplace knowledge which will enable you to align key business objectives of clients
  • Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with customer
  • Successfully manage and overcome customer objections
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products, prices and sales
