A design led and ambitious practice are looking to appoint an individual in a senior and strategic position within their London studio. This is an extremely important role for a qualified Architect who can show demonstrable experience of job running on multiple large scale Residential schemes, and this role will come with the title of Associate Architect.

In terms of success stories within Architecture, this coming have had a stunning 2019. They have had extensive expansion in their office and are now at 30 people, they have opened up an international office, and have been awarded a number of significant high-profile projects. They have an experienced leadership team and a fun, vibrant work environment. They empower staff to take responsibility and contribute across the practice.
The studio's profile has consistently increased over the last 18 months, and they are viewed, alongside a small collection of other studios as being a bright shining light bringing a fresh perspective and an innovative style to UK residential design. Their portfolio has expanded to encompass cultural projects and some fascinating commercial schemes, and whilst residential projects still make up the majority of their portfolio, they do offer diversity in their projects.

As a practice they are seeking an Associate Architect with a track record working on well crafted, high quality projects, with an eye for design and natural flair for leadership. The studio has no egos, and it is incredibly important that the individual in this role is a true team player. The company recognises both individual and collective success, and they would expect the Associate Architect to be able to lead and motivate staff.

It is also essential that this individual is a strong communicator who can articulate their thoughts and plans both internally and externally. As the Associate Architect’s role within the studio develops, they will be given the opportunity to contribute to business development focused activities.

As this is such an important role for the studio, they are seeking someone that closely matches the criteria below:

  • At least 7 years post Part III experience.
  • Have a passion and an interest for high quality design.
  • Enjoy working on large scale projects, ideally residential.
  • Have experience using Revit on live projects.
  • Experience leading teams through large scale planning applications.
