Aspire Cambridge are recruiting for a Product Information Coordinator on behalf of our client in Bedford, Bedfordshire.

This Product Information Coordinator is responsible for the administration and support of the product information management process.  You will require monitor and report on key data measurements, data issue resolution, and the synchronisation of content between our PIM platform and various content resources.

You will take ownership of the management of our clients PIM application and constantly evaluate all current and new data to ensure that it is complete, accurate and up to date. 

Management of BIM is a critical part of this role, particularly in terms of product information and data structures but also with regard to the geometrical-dimensional aspects of BIM. Your responsibility for BIM will also extend to understanding and advising with respect to the application of [BIM] modelling in a wide variety of proprietary software applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of business processes, standards and practices around product data, data workflows and content management in all relevant applications
  • Manage the details of product content resources, delivery channels, data quality, and governance and bring it together in purposeful and manageable information.
  • Monitor and report on key data measurements, data issues resolution, and synchronizing content between our PIM platform and other content resources.
  • Ensure clear understanding of the PIM application, supporting infrastructure, and systems integration on an expert-user level
  • Provide application troubleshooting, monitoring and problem resolution to all internal and external contacts.
  • Lead in the development of new processes to improve the company’s data management goals.
  • Identify and report to the leadership team opportunities that will leverage the PIM application to improve business processes, data governance and support efficiency efforts cross-functionally across the business.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to complete and migrate the required product data, technical data, marketing data and digital assets into PIM/BIM.
  • Develop insights that will help drive progressive programmes (in the context of PIM/BIM) for relevant departments in line with company objectives.
  • Lead initiatives to champion PIM and BIM, collaborating with product management and marketing teams to deliver improved efficiencies in the application of product information from BIM to literature and e-commerce.
  • Perform system administration of PIM and BIM including, supporting and training business users, working with our clients Group to resolve issues.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Strong analytical , project management, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Extensive ability to query  relational databases & files (Excel, Access, or SQL)
  • Methodical in analysing and solving problems, efficiently and detailed
  • Team player with strong oral and written communication skills able to convey complex analytics to a non-technical audience
  • Strong, organizational and time management skills
 
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE CONSIDERED A PLUS:
  • Experience in data management
  • Structural thinker
  • Natural sciences degree (Maths/Science/Physics etc)
  • Communication skills
  • Project management
  • Ideally some interest/ability in programming
  • XSLT
