Aspire Cambridge are looking for a HUNTER! This role will be working on new business opportunities alone to add to their portfolio of existing clients

This role is working in the London and South, home - based but someone who is willing to go out and WIN business and is hungry for success.

Role and Responsibilities:
      
  • Responsible for delivery sales growth of key products within pricing guidelines set by marketing across the client's Catheter range.
  • Working with sales management and Key account managers to prepare territory sales plans and agreed objectives.
  • Executes the territory sales strategy in the field including meeting all sales targets, monitoring own performance and taking all steps reasonably necessary to meet or exceed the targets while containing costs.
  • Maintain and grow market share in our clients focus areas.
  • Lead and convert agreed key accounts across the focus area portfolio
  • Preparation and execution of the regional sales plan including monthly, quarterly and annual sales and profit forecasts consistent with the strategic plan
  • Develop and implement business strategies to grow market share through the Key account managers with the National Sales Manager
  • Assess the training and development needs of Key account managers. Implement appropriate training strategies based on classroom training and accompanied field visits
  • Specialist person for all focus area products
  • Work with the National Sales Manager to manage regional key customer and supplier relationships as directed
  • Actively pursues new business within Focus areas on a daily basis and maintains thorough territory knowledge of prospects and competitive products.
  • Delivers new Business across all chosen specialties across the region in conjunction with the Key Account team
  • Identifies and builds strong and lasting business relationships with all key decision makers (clinical, administrative/economic) key opinion leaders and key referrals in all focus accounts.
  • Identifies and builds strong and lasting business relationships at both a Trust and NHS Tower level in order to understand regional procurement drivers within the market.
  • Performs all activities (in line with the sales strategy) from product introduction and presentation to contract negotiation to accomplish or exceed planned objectives as to sales volume, market penetration, and profitability.
  • Responds quickly to customer questions and needs and resolve customer issues within a timely manner.
  • Maintains and acquires new product, technology, market, sales tool and process knowledge. Shares appropriately with team and reports to Marketing
  • Ensures compliance with policies and practices.
  • Provides accurate reports on sales activities and new business forecasts in the manner requested.
  • Attends and participates in professional congresses and events as required.
  • Tracks own performance and compares it to objectives on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis.
  • Reports all account, market and competitive information and trends and metrics in a comprehensive, complete and timely fashion. Using the tools specified by Sales Management
 Qualification required for Job (minimum requirements):
  • Graduate, ideally in Life Science or Business
  • Full Driving licence
  • Available/willing to work/travel weekends and evenings.
 
  Experience Required to do the job. (minimum requirement)
 
  • Degree Level and/or Relevant Professional Qualification
  • Ideally 6 years minimum experience in medical sales
  • Ideally previous experience leading/influencing salespeople

Key Requirements (Qualifications and Skills):

Start: 1st June 2021
Location: London and the South
Hours: 37.5 hours a week
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 + co car/car allowance + Commission + benefits
