Band 6/7 AFC - £38,000-£41,000 DOE 

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Radiographer to join a well established team within the Imaging department at our client's Hospital, located 5 minutes from Junction 9 of the M25 in Surrey.
  
The Imaging Department provides a comprehensive range of imaging services including general radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, dental, mobile theatre radiography, a newly installed state of the art 1.5T MRI, CT and Dexa scanning.  CT experience is essential and you would play a key part of the CT service.  You would also be required to work in the general department also providing imaging in theatre.  MRI experience is a bonus, but not essential, and there will be opportunities to gain experience in this modality.
  
A suitable worker must be flexible to work variable shift patterns across Mon-Fri and take part in our on-call rota.  You would be on-call from home typically one evening a week and one weekend a month. As a small department it is essential that you can work autonomously as well as part of a team and take part in all aspects of the department.
  
It is essential that the candidate will have:
  • At least 2 years post-graduate Radiography experience in a range of modalities
  • Current registration with the HCPC (UK)
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards
  • Excellent communication skills; written and oral
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • A good standard of computer literacy
  • The ability to work well within a team
  • Willingness to be flexible during periods of low activity and work extra hours where required
Duties:
  • Providing high quality individualised imaging services for patients, being sensitive to patients needs for dignity and privacy
  • Control radiation doses to patients in line with ALARP
  • Ensure that the agreed standards of patient care and confidentiality are maintained in accordance with Ramsay policies
  • Adhere to SoR code of conduct and Guidelines
