Description
We are currently recruiting for a Technical/mechanical minded field Engineer for a leading business who supply, consult, maintain, and repair pumping systems. As the face of the business on customer’s sites, you will play a vital role in the continued development of a rapidly growing business, a business heavily reliant on exceptional levels of customer service. You will be responsible to visit a number of clients to fulfill scheduled service work, breakdowns and installations of new pumps. These visits would typically be in the Greater London area and up to an hour and a half radius of Leighton Buzzard. You will carry a large degree of responsibility on site, including ensuring all work is carried out to a high level of Health & Safety compliance. It will involve some days with long hours and requires someone who is flexible with their working hours.
 
They are looking to attain NICEIC accreditation for their service and installation teams and to quickly build the electrical side of the business through their existing client relationships. They are looking for an individual to be responsible for attaining the accreditation and to act as our Qualified Electrical Supervisor. You will also be responsible for technical advice and training on electrical engineering across the company.
 
Requirements
  • Must be both technical and mechanical minded
  • Must have experience within the pumping industry
  • Must enjoy and be willing to travel up to 50,000 miles per year
  • Must be able to work to tight deadlines
  • Must be able to provide a quality customer service experience - My clients mission is to excel in customer service, by combining technical know-how and risk management
  • Must have the willingness and determination to stay positive even under pressure
  • Ideally having less than 6 penalty points on full drivers license
Benefits
  • Basic salary between £30,000 - £40,000 DOE with the view to increase to £50,000 after the first 6 months to a year
  • 40 hours per week typically being on site from 8am - 5pm with 1 hours lunch
  • Overtime over 40 hours payable at time and a half
  • Team bonus of up to 10% of monthly salary
