HAYWARD HAWK are delighted to be working with an established software house in Belfast. Having become part of a global operation, they still maintain a local home grown environment and treat all staff as part of the family.
They are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join the team. 
Day to day, you would be involved in the following:

  • Work with both Windows and Linux Servers
•  Manage both internal and client Windows infrastructure (including DNS, DHCP, File Shares, Active Directory)
•  Diagnose Customer technical issues and document and update Customer queries or issues in ticket management system and track incidents through to resolution/escalation
• Understand customer business challenges and how the underlying Windows infrastructure support the customer in overcoming these challenges
• Design and deploy Windows Infrastructure in customer sites
• Design and implement Firewall solutions
• Be pro-active in assessing and introducing the best technologies to constantly develop and improve the Windows Infrastructure offering available to our customers
• Manage and implement of Office365 in customer sites
• Manage Antivirus solutions both internally and for customers
• Ensure customer environments are adhering to information security best practices
• Travel (up to 50%) to customer sites to implement projects or resolve issues
• Perform any other reasonable duties are required by Management
You’ll ideally have the following skills and experience:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role including experience of both Linux and Windows Servers
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Server technologies
• Experience of administering and deploying Windows Server 2012/2016
• Experience of administering Office 365
• Experience in server deployments windows server 2012/2016
• Experience with Exchange 
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
•  Experience with management of Windows file systems in regards to best practices around security settings
• Experience in server and desktop virtualization platforms such as VMWare ESXi, Hyper-V
• Experience of Firewall configurations
