Our client is a value-added reseller of IT hardware and associated goods to UK based businesses through longstanding relationships with manufacturers and vendors. They supply everything from laptops, PC’s, parts and spares through to switches, servers and storage units, to companies ranging from 1 IT user to 1000 company members.

Due to exciting company growth, they are now looking for a Trainee Sales Executive to join the team, based in Rossendale.

You will be completing a full-time training programme, that will teach you everything you need to know about the sales world. Combined with expert training in a fun, friendly and encouraging environment, you will be shown everything you need to know about lead generation, relationship building, growing a client base and the ins and outs of IT sales.

  • As a Trainee Sales Executive, your Role & Responsibilities will include:
    • Generating new leads and customers predominately via the phone but also including email & social media
    • Learning about the vendors they work with and their products whilst gaining accreditation
    • Working on the database & CRM system, building your own potential client portfolio
    • Creating and implementing social media campaigns, utilising LinkedIn, and raising theirs and the company’s profile
    • Working with the team on existing accounts where required
    • General office administration duties

    • An excellent communicator, with a mature and professional approach

    • Enthusiastic, a willingness to learn and follow direction
    • Ability to develop customer service skills, combined with a confident, positive, pro-active and ‘can do’ attitude
    • Good standard of numeracy and literacy – including Maths and English
    • Computer literacy, ideally experience with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
 
As a Trainee Sales Executive, you will receive a salary of £10,000 - £12,000, a company pension, 22 days holiday (plus bank holidays), in depth training and progression opportunities in a fun and relaxed environment
