  • £45k-£95k package
  • Work on highly commercial next generation computer vision / ML projects
  • Robust mechanisms in place to support your development
Want to use your deep learning / computer vision development skills to help engineer the next generation of drone technology?
We've partnered with a 'hot' London start-up to recruit a Computer Vision Software Engineer. The business is operating within this space utilising the very latest engineering technology and combining it with the very latest machine learning research to develop some highly commercial next generation applications.
They might be a start-up, but the business isn't brand new. Over the last few phases of business expansion they have built a team of developers, top researchers who continue to engage with the academic community through publishing / conferences, and a highly developed leadership team who have developed and maintain strong commercial partnerships with key global players.
The business has unified state of the art computer vision algorithms with hardware to create commercialised units that can 'see' and engage with the world around it. This innovative application of technology is creating the next generation of what will be 'normal'.
From speaking to some of the current computer vision software developers in the business, they operate and promote a pleasant and supportive environment where you are encouraged to develop and expand your skills - whether this be a new language that would be useful to the business, or research.
Often development and progression are as a result of the opportunities you exploit within start-ups. Given how far this business is within its journey, they have robust mechanisms in place to support your development, so no one is left behind as a result of concentrating on what you're passionate about - the code! Alongside regular appraisals, they use the annual review meeting giving you a professional space to articulate, chart, and measure your growth within the company.
We are looking for computer vision Software developers operating at all levels. The minimum bar to entry is being able to demonstrate:
  • Python and examples of using libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • C++skills
  • Algorithm optimisation and adaptation
  • Linux
  • Databases (e.g. MySQL)
