Our client is on the hunt for an Information Management Specialist

Functions
Accountable for developing and implementing technology infrastructure. These would include amongst others. These include system design, GIS and various information source integration, document management, dashboards, monitoring and evaluation, baselines, early warning and knowledge management.

Minimum Requirements
1. Relevant B degree in ICT, Commerce or Engineering
2. Preferably a Project Management qualification (PMBOK or Prince or Similar)
Extensive work experience-across multiple areas of government (approximately 5 -8 years) (Past experience operating at a senior specialist level)
ICT Security experience
3. Extensive knowledge and capability experience of SAP and System  Development Life Cycle
4. Understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
5. A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in an ICT Management position as well as the ability to manage a team of ICT Professionals, Project Managers and Specialists
6. Minimum of 3 – 5 years in managing medium to large-sized projects in an ICT environment
7. Demonstrated exposure to formulation and implementation of ICT Strategy
Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures

Desirable Requirements
1. Supply chain management and processes.
