The Opportunity:
Do you have a couple of years procurement experience and are looking to further develop your procurement skills and want fast track progression?

We can offer you the opportunity to learn and develop your procurement skills across multiple industry sectors and the chance to work on a variety of wide ranging projects from supporting on opportunity assessments, sourcing indirect goods & services, delivering cost optimisation and wider transformation programmes.

The Role:
  • Supporting on procurement assessments and identifying tactical buying & strategic saving opportunities
  • Supporting procurement work streams to achieve project deliverables
  • Working with stakeholders & building relationships to ensure effective project delivery
  • Undertaking supply market research to develop category, sourcing and contract initiatives
  • Developing & implementing category plans, tactical buying / strategic sourcing projects, contract and supplier management & continuous improvement activities
  • Supporting on savings delivery programmes
  • Running sourcing, tendering and contract award processes
  • Participating and or running supplier/contract negotiations
You should have:
  • A passion for procurement and at least 1 years experience in either buying, sourcing and or contract & supplier management
  • A confident communication style with good stakeholder engagement skills
  • Energy and enthusiasm to drive results and be organised
  • Excellent analytical skills with a good attention for detail
  • A strong desire to learn and develop along with professional drive
  • The ability to succeed in a dynamic and team environment
  • Candidates should be flexible to travel to client sites
