Location: LL13 / part remote / flexible

Our high growth Fintech client is looking for an IT Application / Supplier Support Analyst to join their team. This role will manage and support the availability of IT services in a multi supplier environment.
 
IT Application / Supplier Support Analyst - Key Skills and Experience
 
  • Experience of working in an outsourced, multi-supplier IT environment. 
  • Strong incident management experience.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills are essential, as is an aptitude for attention to detail.
  • Strong academic background
  • Desirable - one or more of the following ITIL v3 qualifications: Foundation / Service Operations / Service Transition / Continuous Service Improvement.  
  • Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides). 
  • Cloud-based technology platforms.
  • Atlassian JIRA (cloud) Service Desk.
  • Supplier management.
  • Problem management. 
IT Application / Supplier Support Analyst responsibility –
  •  Analyse raw service data to identify common causes of service failure and/or avoidable cost, identifying new fields, metrics and targets where required.  
  • Manage the operation of the company’s Service Desk tooling (currently Atlassian JIRA), including contributing to workflow design.  
  • Manage supplier performance against agreed SLAs, escalating issues approaching and/or beyond breach.
  • Ensure adherence to service management process documentation, identifying and delivering improvements where required. 
  • Own discrete service improvement projects from start-up to delivery.
  • Monitor and enhance system alerting to proactively identify and resolve service disruption (covering multiple products and suppliers).
  • Provide on-call support for major incident management, including escalation to the company’s Major Incident Response Team where required.
