Employment Lawyer working in-house to support a number of clients across the UK with varied employment law issues

MBA are currently recruiting for a commercial and dynamic in-house Employment Lawyer to join a leading HR, Employment Law and Health & Safety boutique provider, supporting businesses throughout the UK within their Liverpool city centre office. This organisation takes the time to understand their clients, offering refreshing and bespoke services to support their client’s business needs and objectives, guiding them through key stages within their business’ journey.  
As an Employment Lawyer, you will be required to complete the following tasks;
  • Manage a caseload of files which include but is not limited to;
    • o Providing advice on employment law issues to SMEs
    • o Settlement agreements
    • o Drafting of policies and contracts
    • o Disclosures
    • o TUPE
    • o Undertaking Advocacy at the Employment Tribunals
  
What we’re looking for from an Employment Lawyer;
  • Qualified Employment Law Solicitor with at least 2 years post qualification experience
  • Proven experience advising companies and HR departments on a full range of issues including TUPE, whistleblowing and redundancy
  • Restrictive covenant experience
  • Ability to run full range of employment tribunal claims
  • Excellent technical knowledge and commercial awareness
  • Strong client facing skills with the ability to build strong relationships
Employment Lawyer Job Details;
  • Full time role 35hrs, Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.
  • £30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience
  • Liverpool city centre location with access to free parking
  • Career progression encouraged
