Remote working property claims handler / adjuster.

MBA are currently recruiting for Remote Working Claims Handlers to join an exciting global organisation. As a leading player in the insurance industry, our client puts their people are the heart of everything they do. They pride themselves on providing an exceptional service for their clients, as well as ensuring the happiness and growth of their employees.

Though the regional base for this division is in Croydon, the Claims Handler role is home based / remote working in the South East. You will be the first point of call for the client and work closely with the Loss Adjusters, dealing with contractors, coordinating claim settlements, generating reports, coordinating repairs and progressing the claims. For this, you must have excellent attention to detail, be super organised and have strong background in customer service. 

As a Claims Handler, you will be required to complete the following tasks;
  • Handle property claims from a variety of insurers in a manner that supports a fast and fair settlement for the claimant
  • Provide sound advice and keeping the claimant informed though the process
  • Investigate root causes of any blocks or failures in the process
  • Provide solutions that are in the best interests of this and future claims  
What we are looking for in a Claims Handler;
  • Experience dealing with property, real estate or high net-worth claims
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Great communicator, written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills including influence and negotiation
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple IT systems

  • £22,000 - £30,000 plus benefits.
