Document Controller - Construction - Manchester

A great opportunity to join a very stable construction company on a long term project, in the current climate, job security like this is very much sought after.

The client is a market-leading Tier 1 National Contractor who still maintain a family ethos internally, during lockdown they ramped up business and secured a lot of work, keeping them very busy and financially strong for the next few years.

Ideal candidate:

Solid background working in the construction industry.
Experience using 4P as document control systems.
Strong organisation skills and the ability to multi-task.
A personable and approachable individual who enjoys supporting others.

Duties:

Controlling both company and project documentation for several projects.
Using 4P to organise and distribute documents within the team
Quality assurance checking of incoming drawings ensuring names and conventions have been followed and the revisions are correct.
Compiling drawing registers.
Working with Design Managers assisting with inputting comments on drawings.
Tracking documents ensuring they are compliant with the HSE regulations.
Ensuring documents are updated by the site team within the deadlines.

Remuneration

- Up to £25,000 per ann depending on experience

- Company Car / Allowance
