Quantity Surveyor required for a super prime residential contractor to based in South West London.

About your new company

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a super prime residential contractor based in South West London. Our client carry's out New Build, Refurbishment, Cut & Carve, Fit Out and Restoration with contract values from £300k to £3m.
Key Responsibilities
  • Cost control and monitoring
  • Subcontractor and supplier procurement
  • Monthly valuations and variations
  • Pre and post contract administration
  • Subcontractor and supplier claims.
  • Preparation of Handover Project Packs to Contracts Managers
  • Attending of Pre Tender meeting and assisting with the securing of projects (Estimation of projects is done by others)
  • Build, Manage and Maintain relationships with Clients / Subcontractors etc
 Abilities & Skills
  • Suitable candidates must be highly motivated & hard-working
  • Can work well both individually and as part of a team
  • Have the ability to interpret & make calculations based on drawings
  • Communication Skills – Must be clear and concise with a positive demeanour and confident when talking to clients
  • Ownership – takes responsibility for delivery of projects. Takes pride in achievement.
  • Decisiveness – Readiness to evaluate alternatives, make decisions and judgements and to take action where required
  • Organisational skills and time management essential for the role

What you need to succeed
  • A minimum of 3-4 years experience in super prime / high end residential.
  • Degree / HNC qualified in Quantity Surveying desirable but not essential. Other relevant qualifications will be considered.
  • Ability to interpret & make calculations based on drawings. 
  • Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office & Excel.
  • Full, clean UK Driving License
