Newly opened office is looking for our Mechanical Manager to lead the office through the designing of design build mechanical projets.

New construction management opportunity is available, in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. We currently have a unique opportunity for a Mechanical Department Manager in our newly formed office. With offices across the Atlantic regions, we have assembled an exceptional team of professionals who provide engineering expertise to the construction community in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design.
In the Mechanical Department Manager role, you will have the opportunity to establish, promote and ensure quality on all mechanical projects and work performed by the Raleigh mechanical staff. Specifically, you will assign department personnel to project teams, and assist in or lead the development of fee and scope proposals. In addition, you will determine labor, resource, and financial needs of the mechanical department and assist the Raleigh Office Director with budgeting for the mechanical department and oversee expenditures of the office’s mechanical department. Relocation assistnace will be provided.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to the office’s Mechanical Engineering Department
    • Help establish and grow the office’s Mechanical Engineering Department
    • Provide specification and design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for architectural projects within defined budgets
    • Maintain and foster relationships with clients
    • Lead the mechanical department in the production of quality designs while achieving profit goals
    • Lead multi-discipline engineering teams on selected projects, serving as the client’s main point of contact for the engineering team
    • Provide oversight of mechanical engineering projects
Requirements:

      o Managing architectural projects
• 10+ years of experience in the design of buildings and related projects
• Experience leading project design teams
