Skills:  The Plumbing/Fire Protection Designer must be able to work with all engineering and mechanical departments and project teams across the organization and lead the plumbing and fire protection design initiatives on all projects on both new construction projects and renovation projects. The duties of the Plumbing and Fire Protection Designer will be to fulfill the requirements for plumbing system load calculations; layout and sizing of piping systems; hydraulic calculations and equipment selections. In addition, coordinate with architectural and structural building components.
 
In addition, the selected candidate must be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office, Autodesk, AutoCAD, and Revit. 
The candidate must be career oriented and desire long-term employment and advancement within the company,
 
Education: The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited engineering school and must have a minimum of 2-4 years relevant experience in commercial, institutional, and public buildings in the healthcare, biotech, higher education, office, large mixed-use residential buildings, and hotel markets.
