Job Brief: 
We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. The Sales Manager is responsible for the sales of Retrofit and non-OEM Commercial & Industrial Burners to Channel Partners. The candidate will provide Product and Sales support to Mechanical Contractors, Steam Power Generation Plants, Institutions, Office Buildings, and manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing the potential of our sales team. 

Sales Manager Mission:
  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing our sales teams based out of PA, NJ and MD
  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
Responsibilities:
  • Achieve company growth and sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensures it’s strong presence with Consulting Engineers, Contractors and End Users
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Coach, develop and motivate the sales team
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Continuous education to ensure that yourself and the sales team have strong technical capabilities and that they continue to learn and stay abreast of industry developments
  • Achieve all objectives in a manner that is ethical and professional
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Engineering or equivalent experience. Additional advanced degree in business administration or a related fields is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ successful experience as a sales representative or sales manager in the industrial capital equipment sales field. Prefer detailed knowledge of and experience with steam and hot water boilers and related systems, controls and burners
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience executing at all stages of the sales process as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Experience in successfully planning and implementing sales strategies
  • Relationships with consulting engineers, contractors and end users in PA, NJ, DE, MD and WV a big plus
  • Committed to continuous education through internal training, workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Experience with using a CRM to effectively support sales efforts and provide analysis and reports to management (preferred)
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
