Graham-Pelton is seeking a Vice President to develop new business, manage accounts, and provide select service delivery. This position works closely with the Graham-Pelton Executive Team and the Infrastructure Team, and the team assigned to the Vice President's primary geographic region. The position will have a regional focus throughout New England and/or the Mid-Atlantic.


Responsibilities:

Business Development
• Participate in outbound business development activities, including but not limited to: participating in meet and greets and small gatherings; participating in and leading pitch presentations; qualifying potential new business opportunities; writing proposals; and spotting new services to benefit existing clients
• Consistently utilize Salesforce to monitor and guide business development activity
• Plan and oversee seminars and other small gatherings of clients and potential clients and represent Graham-Pelton at conferences
• Conceive of and oversee marketing initiatives in the region to meet firm-wide strategic objectives
• Work with Graham-Pelton professional staff to provide communication to potential clients, including personal emails, group electronic/social media communication, direct mail, and surveys

Client Service/Account Management
• Provide overall leadership to regional activities and team
• Provide direct client service as part of an assigned team
• As the supervisor of accounts, provide and ensure highest quality client service while also providing leadership and mentorship to Graham-Pelton colleagues
• Manage accounts to meet the firm's key performance indicators and ensure strong, ongoing client relationships and satisfaction
• Spot talent; assist in developing and managing the pipeline of Graham-Pelton candidates


Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• Minimum of 15 years previous experience, with a demonstrated track record of success in project management, fundraising and development, and/or transferrable professional services experience
• Entrepreneurial, self-starter spirit and optimistic attitude, with ability to keep up with fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and superb critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work remotely and travel as needed
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
 
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Proficiency with Salesforce
• Proficiency with Workfront
• Experience in higher education, independent schools, or healthcare sectors
• Experience in fundraising and development
• Master's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field
