The principal responsibility is to lead, inspire and motivate the Dallas-based teams thereby making a major contribution to the delivery of the Group’s Vision. Responsible for driving all aspects of the site’s business performance ensuring the seamless interaction of all site functional activities, including management of Healthcare opportunities, financial control and accounting, operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance and legal obligations.  Remaining focused on optimizing customer and shareholder value through responsible, agile delivery of our specialized solutions.

The key responsibilities are:

·       Ensuring a safe work environment at all times for employees within the site and all visitors to the sites while meeting legislative requirements.
·       Providing the necessary leadership and resources to ensure that all products and services supplied by the sites are at the highest possible levels, are consistent with Company targets, and meeting Customer specifications.
·       Working closely with the Healthcare Team and demonstrating a high level of cooperation to develop and maintain exceptional business relations with customers.
·       Manage all resources towards achieving the most efficient use, including but not limited to cash, materials, labor, equipment and natural resources.
·       Ensure the site consistently operates in an environmentally responsible manner meeting the company's standards and legislative requirements for environmental protection.
·       Significant involvement in the strategic development for the site in cooperation with Global Operations and others.  This would include many aspects of Site Development including Human Resources, manufacturing processes, equipment, capabilities, distribution of goods, etc.
·       Manage/oversee all Site Operational costs including annual budgeting, re-forecasts, and monthly reporting to Senior Management.
·       Effective development of Human Resources with the site including but not limited to training, career development, succession planning, discipline and compensation.
·       Promote effective Risk Management including the accurate and timely maintenance of all site-based risk profiles in accordance with Group Policy.  Ensuring that all site-owned risks are managed within the Group’s defined Appetite and actively monitor the resolution of agreed actions via the Group’s tracking processes.

Essential skills/experience/qualifications:
·       Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of a diverse organization.
·       Minimum 5 years of Senior Operations Management role in a manufacturing environment.
·       Strong knowledge of Healthcare, Quality Management Systems (QMS), quality regulations (ISO14001 / ISO9001 / ISO13485) and FDA regulations for medical device contract manufacturing.
·       Proven ability to manage broad spectrum manufacturing facilities in a capital intensive environment supplying demanding markets in industrial/healthcare.

Desirable skills/experience/ qualifications:
·      Computer literacy with spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Word and Corporate IT systems such as SAP.
·      Previous experience with converting, materials/adhesive technologies, printing, automated packaging and sterilization validation.
·      Previous experience with application of automation to processes.
·      Lean manufacturing
·      Strong academics and basic understanding of manufacturing finance.
·      Experience with detailed review of personal performance, goal and objective setting and human resources development.
·      Ability to comfortably work within a technical environment.
·      Strong commercial acumen with a genuine enthusiasm and commitment to provide exceptional service to customers and other stakeholders
·      A driven individual with a strategic mindset
·      Display knowledge of key areas of manufacturing and standard Key Performance Indicators.
