What you’ll do:
You will gain a better understanding of the various Human Resource functions and prepare to apply your classroom knowledge in a real-world practical setting.
  • Support HR Generalists with a wide range of projects related to HR compliance, recruiting, onboarding/orientation, employee benefits, talent management, and other HR related tasks
  • Learn to apply employment law and compliance factors, especially regarding employment eligibility, confidentiality, proper maintenance of employee files, and records management
  • Engage with the HR team across function areas – employee experience, talent acquisition, safety, and payroll/compliance/benefits
  • Work with the CONSOR Impact and Share coordinators to refine our volunteerism program and impact goals for 2022
You should be:
  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student with a focus/major in business administration, human resources, or related field
  • First generation college student
  • Highly passionate about learning and growing within the HR field
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office programs with a demonstrated ability to learn other application programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess the desire to learn new and challenging skills
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
Commitment:         Nine weeks, between June 1, 2021 and August 12, 2021  Four days a week, Monday-Thursday (hours to be arranged)

Compensation:      Hourly at $15.00 per hour
