What you’ll do:
Our civil engineering interns work alongside some of the most highly respected civil engineers and designers in the industry. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to exciting and significant projects, delivering quality work that has a positive and lasting influence on our communities and clients.
  •  Work alongside our teams and be exposed to various aspects of civil engineering including, transportation planning, traffic and ITS, highway and local streets design, drainage, and horizontal/vertical structures
  • Work alongside project managers at various stages of project completion to gain an understanding of project evolution from conceptual through final design
  • Receive real-world experience and training in industry-related design software
  • Apply technical skills to meet project needs and solve problems
  • Assist with plan documents, field surveys, or other studies under the guidance of a licensed engineer
You should be:
  • Currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior working towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Passionate about learning new and challenging skills and have a demonstrated drive to achieve goals
  • Strong team player who flourishes in a collaborative environment and takes ownership in the work you do
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
Commitment:         Nine weeks, between June 1, 2021 and August 12, 2021
Four days a week, Monday-Thursday (hours to be arranged)
Compensation:      Hourly at $15.00 per hour
