Our client is a leading video intelligence (VSaaS, Analytics) technology provider, offering a portfolio of products including hardware and software for physical and information security applications. Their solutions have been deployed in major cities, public safety agencies, universities and critical infrastructure high sensitive areas. Partnering with the elite logo brands within Communications, IoT and Security, they gained the confidence and business from a wide range of clients across the US.
Our client is aggressively expanding and looking for a Regional Sales Director with extensive experience in leading B2B/ Enterprise sales processes, to generate business opportunities with US Enterprises, SLED, Public Safety, Critical Infrastructure and City/Municipalities
Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage key partners including Technology Platforms and Security Providers in order to execute strategic relationships according to the company’s business objectives
  • Identify and gain access to decision makers and cultivate relationships in order to successfully position company solutions
  • Lead discussions with partners about strategic business objectives, develop and implement a business plan to align their needs with company products/services
  • Perform long range planning to increase product placement, customer satisfaction and sales growth for long term result and achievement of assigned sales targets
  • Travel to existing and prospective customers with the purpose of sustaining and growing the company’s solutions
Requirements
  • 5-8 years in a regional or vertical sales role with demonstrated quota attainment successes
  • Company experience in a high tech, small to medium-sized business is a must
  • Entrepreneurial experience a plus
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and negotiating skills are a must, in particular with enterprise level customers
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and ability to communicate across business departments (engineering, procurement, upper management) to negotiate large multi-million dollar deals
  • Demonstrated ability to execute regional sales plans geared towards end user business development, sales execution within a complex sales cycle
  • Must be based with the NY/NJ/PA market and able to travel
