Key tasks:
  • Preparation of all types of Business Activity Statements/Instalment Activity Statements
  • Preparation of individual, partnership, trust and company tax returns
  • Preparation of special purpose financial statements and general purpose financial statements
  • Preparation of payroll tax monthly lodgements and annual reconciliation report
  • Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax return
  • Preparation of Superannuation lodgement via Australia Taxation Office (“ATO”) Small Business Superannuation Clearing House and Superannuation Guarantee Charge statements
  • Identification of commercial, business and taxation issues with respect to the completion of assigned compliance tasks
  • Research on relevant taxation legislation or ATO rulings.
  • Preparation of bookkeeping and management accounts including the following task:
    • o Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger Maintenance
    • o Accounts Payables/Receivables reconciliation and variance adjustments
    • o GST, PAYG Withholding and other tax liabilities reconciliation
    • o Conversion of cash/accrual accounting in the management accounts
    • o Preparation of Benchmark and KPI analysis
  • Communication with various federal or statement government authorities including ATO, ASIC and State Revenue Office regarding various client requests

Proficient in the following Software:
  • MYOB (All versions)
  • Xero
  • Quickbooks
  • Microsoft Word and Excel

  • 1-2 years’ experience in public practice (preferably Australian chartered accounting firm).
  • Graduate of Accountancy or related course
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • High attention on details
  • Can manage multiple clients and handle time well
Location and Schedule:
  • 16th Floor, Skyrise 4B, West Geonzon, Cebu IT Park, Cebu
  • 7am-4pm; Monday-Friday
  • Preferably to work onsite the office; if not can be allowed to temporary work-from-home (must have good internet connection)
