Exciting opportunity for a driven professional who enjoys the challenge of closing deals by providing superior technical solutions at competitive prices for solar energy solutions. Service the commercial and industrial market and help grow a medium sized solar engineering EPC firm in Kenya and into Uganda and Tanzania.  
 
Looking for a Sales Engineer to do the following:
  • Follow up on leads and request for proposals for solar energy solutions (the company has a good reputation and are getting many requests for proposals) 
  • Clarify client needs ( commercial and industrial clients) - by visiting clients and doing necessary due diligence and site review  
  • Develop and write up solar energy solution in a client proposal (they can provide outright sale solutions as an EPC as well as facilitate financed long term solutions) 
  • Sell the solution and follow up till get closure 
  • Close the deal and get it signed 
  • General business development as required 
  • The execution team takes over after the deal is signed and delivers the project 
 
Must have:
  • Experience in solar and developing solutions for clients 
  • Mechanical or electrical qualifications 
  • Technical Sales / proposal writing and selling experience
  • Be Kenyan or have an existing work permit 
  • Be professional and driven to achieve targets 
 
Compensation:
US$3000 pm 
Opportunity to earn commission (up to 3% of the sale)
